The Ocean Of You

Walking down by the harbour, it’s minus 20 degrees and the winter breeze blows across the sea. Boats sail across the sea, Captain’s Log reports of fog, but the key is lost so no one can see and no ones gonna make it out to sea. A broken compass, broken glass, captains who can’t leave the bay, lovers who can’t find their way. Let the clouds blow aside; let the stars be their guide.

I sail across the ocean, drunken in your love potion, the sun undone by the horizon, breaking thru’ the ice, it scars the Apple tree of my boat and parts break free, float and turns into lime tree. I climb the mountains of fear, but the clouds move by and up high, the rain of your sea falls down and I slide to your shore and I feel the tide that me and you, divides.

I float in the sea, lost in your love lotion, dreaming of what could have been you and me. The cold water has taken a hold of my heart; the sun rises in the horizon and shines on a part lost of mine. Lime tree floating free in the sea, I embark on a journey, through an ocean of sharks, to find the lost part torn apart, and as I climb up, I cut my now bleeding heart.
