Cherish Love.

This life reminds me,
Of a love long gone.
It reminds me too much,
Of a sad sad song.

That is why I do not want,
To go on in this material world.
And though I know I must,
It still hurts this little girl.

'Cause that is what I am.
I do not feel like a woman.
How can I be,
When my past still haunts me?

I know everyone,
Wants me to get over and get on.
But it is not that easy,
When I feel everything is wrong.

It's weird how people come and go,
In and out of our lives.
How they can suddenly ignore,
Our helpless, innocent cries.
